Different look - Same Adventure, Same fun!

The AR Mini‑Series is BACK, with a new look and some original favourite venues…

After a year spent putting our heads down and growing The Cogmans Trail Run, No Frills No Fuss (NFNF) is back doing what we love most - bringing more adventure racing to the people! And we’re not easing back in… we’re coming in with a bang!

We’ve made some changes - you might notice the new look - it needed it. We needed a logo that embodies the adventure, unknown and fun of the events (and the sport).

The NFNF AR Mini Series returns this November with three short, action-packed Adventure Races designed to give both newcomers and experienced racers a taste of what adventure racing is all about.

Adventure Racing combines mountain biking, running, navigation, teamwork and a healthy dose of problem-solving, with teams navigating their own way through the course. The Mini Series keeps things short, accessible and fun - typically taking a few hours rather than an entire weekend - making it the perfect introduction to the sport or a great way for seasoned racers to get their adventure fix.

The 2026 series kicks off on 7 November in Jonkershoek, before moving to the beautiful Muratie on 28 November. The final race takes place on 5 December, with the venue being kept under wraps for now. Each location brings its own character, terrain and challenges, meaning no two races will be quite the same.

Whether you’re an experienced adventure racer, a trail runner looking for something different, a mountain biker wanting to test your navigation skills, or simply looking for a lekker day out with friends or family, the Mini Series is about getting outside, working together and having a jol.

After a short sabatical, NFNF is excited to be back doing what it does best.
